A rich and creamy cheesecake, adorned with a striking chocolate spiderweb decoration, perfect for Halloween.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 ½ cups Chocolate graham cracker crumbs
½ cup Unsalted butter, melted
16 oz Cream cheese, softened
¾ cup Powdered sugar
8 oz Dark chocolate, melted
1 cup Whipped cream
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Chocolate syrup for decoration
Instructions
Start by preparing the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, ensuring an even layer. Place it in the refrigerator to set while you prepare the filling.
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to mix until well combined.
Pour in the melted dark chocolate and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is evenly incorporated and creamy.
Gently fold in the whipped cream until no white streaks remain. This will keep the cheesecake light and airy.
Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Once the cheesecake is set, carefully remove it from the springform pan. Use a squeeze bottle or piping bag to drizzle chocolate syrup in a spiderweb pattern on top of the cheesecake.
For a fun touch, you can also add chocolate spider decorations around the edges if desired.
