A delightful fusion of sweet peaches and creamy goodness nestled in flaky pastry, perfect for summer parties.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups Fresh peaches, diced
8 oz Cream cheese, softened
1 can (8 oz) Crescent roll dough
1/4 cup Sugar
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 egg + 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold in the diced peaches, ensuring they're coated in the cream cheese mixture without overmixing.
Open the crescent roll dough and unroll the triangles. Place about a tablespoon of the peach and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
Carefully roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point, ensuring the filling is tucked inside. Pinch the edges to seal.
Place the rolled bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
For a golden finish, brush each roll with the egg wash using a pastry brush.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
