A quick and decadent solution to your dinner dilemma. This rich and creamy pasta sauce transforms humble ingredients into a comforting Italian meal that feels indulgent yet is incredibly easy to whip up.
Ingredients
Scale:
1/2 cup (1 stick) Unsalted butter
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 cup Heavy cream
1 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Watch it carefully, ensuring it does not brown.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash more cream to reach your desired consistency.
Season the sauce with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
Pour the Alfredo sauce over your cooked pasta, tossing to coat evenly. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
