A creamy and flavorful dish that's perfect for any party or casual get-together, showcasing fresh crab meat, smooth cream cheese, and zesty seasonings.
Ingredients
Scale:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 cup lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
Gently fold in the lump crab meat, ensuring not to break the lumps too much.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped green onions. Stir gently until well incorporated.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the crab dip to a serving bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Just before serving, garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
