Description
These carnival donut holes are not only a nostalgic nod to the sweet snacks enjoyed at fairs but also a delightful way to indulge at home.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/4 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup Sugar (for coating)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.
Gradually add the milk to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Using a spoon or a cookie scoop, fill each muffin tin cup about two-thirds full with the batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once baked, remove the donut holes from the oven and let them cool slightly in the tin.
In a separate bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Roll each warm donut hole in the cinnamon sugar coating until well coated.
