Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound Ground beef
1 medium Onion, diced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 medium head Cabbage, chopped
2 cups Tomato sauce
1 cup Rice (uncooked)
1 cup Beef broth
1 tablespoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with diced onion until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped cabbage, tomato sauce, rice, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your hearty one-dish meal!
