The 4-Ingredient Cheesy Beef Biscuit Bake is the ultimate comfort food that checks all the boxes: it's hearty, satisfying, and incredibly simple to prepare.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound Ground beef
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tube (about 16 oz) Biscuit dough (pre-made or homemade)
1 packet (about 1 oz) Seasoned taco seasoning
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning to the beef and mix well. Follow the package instructions for adding water, if required.
Stir in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined with the beef mixture.
Transfer the beef and cheese mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Evenly distribute the biscuit pieces over the beef mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly.
